Northwest Xtreme College Open Cheer
Ages 17+
New to the Area, but definitely not new to the sport..
Do you want to continue cheering, you now have another option. Join our college open team designed for those who can't stop competing and love the thrill of being under the lights on the mat. We will strive to build a highly motivated group that will compete in Anaheim, CA at the USA College Nationals.
Open tryouts throughout the summer, contact us for more details, spots are filling fast.

* All misc fees will be discussed with parents at tryouts and through out the year. We are doing our best to keep the fees as small as possible with uniform exchange programs and travelling to local competions. We understand the economy is bad and do NOT want the cost of cheer to stop any athlete from these life time experiences.

Chuck and Charmaine Chartrey, Head Coaches and Owners
Charmaine has been involved in gymnastics and cheerleading for more than 15 years. In addition to previously running her own gymnastics program in Oregon, Charmaine has both participated and coached several competitive cheer squads. As a mother, Charmaine understands the importance of childhood development and the benefits that gymnastics offers to help build a child's self esteem and confidence. She has also worked with several high school cheerleading squads to help develop everything from their competition routines to putting on stunting/tumbling clinics and college prep for cheerleaders wanting to go cheer at the college level. In 2008, Charmaine was an integral member of the Championship Northwest Open Cheer Squad that received First Place at Nationals! She also took 1st place in Partner stunting with her her Husband chuck. Upon moving to Washington, she has become extremely involved in Kent Knights, Tahoma JV and Varsity and Enumclaw co-ed High School. USASF Certified Tumbling Coach
Chuck has been involved in cheerleading and tumbling for the last 12 years. Chuck was a member and coach of several National and State Champion competitive cheer teams including the University of Oregon, Thurston High School, Springfield High School, West Coast Extreme, Thunder Elite and Northwest Open Co-Ed cheerleading squads. Chuck has gone to nationals for partner stunting and team, in which he has taken several 1st through 3rd place medals over the years. After college Chuck joined the Portland Trailblazers stunt and show squad where he continued to tune and polish his stunting and cheer skills. Chuck has coached and assisted many squads in both Oregon and Washington State over the years that have received many accolades, championships, and awards. USASF Certified in all catergories levels 1-5.
